Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo was born in the heart of Shinjuku, Tokyo, in 1971 as Japan’s first skyscraper hotel. At the time, the view from the hotel was one of the biggest parts of our hospitality, and the windows were designed with a special thought. The wide windows, starting at knee height, were designed so that every room would have a bright view of the sun. We have cherished the sense of openness and relaxation that this “one sun per room” design has brought to our guests. Even now, this thought and spirit of hospitality can be felt in our guest rooms and lounges.
From the windows of our Sky Lounge Aurora, located on the top floor, you can enjoy a dynamic panoramic view of Tokyo from 160 meters above ground. We invite you to enjoy the ever-changing, dramatic cityscape from day to night, along with our delicious meals and cocktails.
