The theme of the art and displays in the Club Lounge at Premier Grand is “Discover Rediscover”. It is designed to be a space where foreign guests can “discover” Japan, and Japanese guests can “rediscover” Japan.
For example, “Kiridame” is a traditional lacquerware container with a lid, similar to a large stacked bento box. It was used to store and preserve ingredients, but is now rarely seen. In the dining zone, we use “Kiridame” as a display and propose a new way to appreciate it.
Additionally, the “Tenugui Oshibori” (hand towel) that we offer upon arrival has a history of over 250 years. It is made from Ise cotton fabric, which is carefully woven using traditional methods.
Introducing you to these traditional and beautiful cultural items is one of the many ways we extend our hospitality.
