Keio Plaza Hotel, which has welcomed a wide range of guests, has been quick to incorporate the requests of guests with babies and young children and has supported mothers with various plans.
In 1978, the hotel opened a childcare room staffed by childcare professionals. In 1996, they launched a plan that allowed couples to enjoy time together while their children were in the childcare room, and another accommodation plan that included a professional midwife accompanying mothers and babies during the crucial recovery period after childbirth, which garnered significant attention.
Since the 2000s, when more people began taking parental leave, we have expanded our facilities and products to anticipate the needs of mothers and their families, such as dedicated Nursing Room and wedding plans that accommodate the demand for weddings after childbirth.
In particular, the "Baby-Friendly Plan," created in 2012 in response to requests from guests who wanted to stay at a hotel with their babies in a safe and comfortable environment, was launched. Its diverse features and benefits, such as providing baby items that tend to be bulky to carry in the room, have been very well received, and it has become a hit product that continues to be improved over the years.
