Through the glass windows, guests can enjoy a panoramic view of lush greenery while dining or having tea in the spacious and open atmosphere of Jurin, the all-day dining restaurant located on the second floor of the Main Tower. Jurin has been cherished as the most “plaza-like” dining experience within Keio Plaza Hotel.
When it first opened, Jurin was a coffee house that operated 24 hours a day. Its modern interior design, the diverse and international clientele, the wide variety of menu options, and the warm hospitality of the staff made it a popular spot and one of the most beloved places to relax in West Shinjuku. One of the staff members reminisced, “We had customers from various professions throughout the day, and there was never a moment when the restaurant was empty. I remember running around non-stop.”
In the 80s and 90s, Jurin underwent two renovations to incorporate new trends and ideas. The current all-day dining restaurant was renewed and reopened in 2014 as a more stylish space, where guests can also enjoy a sweets buffet. The restaurant offers a wide range of Western cuisine, inheriting the traditional flavors of the hotel, and the seasonal themed sweets buffet has been well received.
