What are the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals)?

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are international goals for achieving a sustainable and better world by 2030. They were adopted unanimously by all United Nations member countries at the UN Summit in September 2015, as part of the "2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development," which succeeded the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) established in 2001. The SDGs consist of 17 goals and 169 targets, with a pledge to "leave no one behind."

Each of our staff members is conscious of the SDGs and is committed to contributing towards the creation of a sustainable society.

Since our opening, Keio Plaza Hotel Hachioji has been working on creating a barrier-free environment and promoting ecological initiatives under our core philosophy of “Creating a Lively Human Space - A Plaza.”
As a “plaza” where a wide range of guests gather and relax, we hope to be a place of encounters and interactions that transcend countries and races. Through enhancing our main business activities, we aim to contribute to society by creating a barrier-free and eco-friendly environment for our guests to enjoy.
Each and every staff member at our hotel is conscious of the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) and is committed to working towards creating a “plaza” that contributes to the creation of a sustainable society.
