    Acceptance of Assistance Dogs

    Keio Plaza Hotel accepts guide dogs, service dogs, and hearing assistance dogs throughout the hotel. Feeding bowls and mats are available for free rental for guests. There is also a toilet for assistance dogs located outside South Tower lobby. Please ask a staff member if you wish to use this facility.

  • Service Dog Toilet

    There is a toilet for assistance dogs outside South Tower lobby.
    A step higher than the floor has been installed so that wheelchair users can use the toilet there, making it easier for them to clean up after themselves. Braille blocks have also been installed on the floor along the route of movement, making the facility user-friendly and user-friendly.
    It is designed to combine a wooden deck that is easy for wheelchairs to maneuver with artificial turf that is gentle on dogs' paws.

Keio Plaza Hotel was the first in the hotel industry to install a toilet facility for assistance dogs in 2007.
We received guidance from the following organizations during the design and construction.

In-house space facilities

  • Universal Design Toilet

    There are barrier-free toilets on the 2F of the Main Tower (Ostomate-friendly, with a portable bed for adults), 5F of the Main Tower, and 4F of the South Tower.

  • Parking Area

    Wheelchair accessible parking is located on the B1 floor of the South Tower, lot numbers 601 and 602 (total of 4 spaces).
    We also recommend using Main Tower 2F and South Tower Building B1F and 2F, as there are no stairs between the parking lot and the elevator hall.
    *There are stairs on the 1st and B1 floors Main Tower and on the 1st floor South Tower.

  • Elevator

    The elevators in the Main Tower (floors 2-30 and 30-45) and South Tower (floors 2-34) each have a call button installed at a lower height.

  • Slope

    Entrances with ramps are located at the main entrance (Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building side), the banquet hall entrance (JR Shinjuku Station side), and the 2F entrance at the Main Tower (with a ramp from the underground passage exit). There are no steps at the main entrance.
