The attitude to adopt

Opened at 170 meters above ground, it was Japan's first skyscraper hotel and has since led the way in the Japanese hotel industry.
Wedding chapels, which are commonplace today, were first developed in Japan by Keio Plaza Hotel.
Barrier-free access, Nursing Room and childcare facilities, the first ladies' plan in a Tokyo hotel, a sake bar and non-alcoholic cocktails, etc.
We have always been adept at adapting to the changing times and swiftly innovating our hospitality services.

1971年

Japan's first skyscraper hotel Opened as: After the tape-cutting ceremony by Their Imperial Highnesses Prince Takamatsu and Princess Takamatsu, a gorgeous reception party was held at the Concord Ballroom.

1991年

Gourmet Week held at French restaurant Ambrosia: As part of our 20th anniversary celebration, we held an event featuring Chef Alain Ducasse from the prestigious Hotel de Paris in Monte Carlo, who cultivated our in-house restaurant, <Louis XV>, into a three-star establishment.

1994年

Keio Plaza Hotel Hachioji opens: In the 1990s, rapid urbanization was taking place in the southwestern part of Tokyo. One of the central areas of this development was Hachioji, where we opened a new hotel, Keio Plaza Hotel Hachioji.

Around 2000

2002年

10 new universal rooms to open: Since 1988, we have been working on Universal Services, and by utilizing the knowledge we have gained through these initiatives along with our guests’ feedback, we have successfully created 10 Universal Rooms. These rooms are designed to provide a luxurious hotel stay while incorporating numerous support features without projecting a welfare image.

Grand banquet hall < Concord Ballroom > reopens after renovation: After a major renovation spanning six months, the Concord Ballroom Banquet Room reopened.
The Sky Pool on the 7th-floor rooftop has also been renovated. Environmental considerations were also taken into account with a 1,000m² rooftop green space.

2016年

Premier Grand opens: Premier Grand rooms were newly established on the 37th to 41st floors of the Main Tower.
In 2018, the Club Lounge for Premier Grand guests was opened on the 45Ｆ, with additional space added on the 35th and 36th floors.

2024年

SKY PLAZA IBASHO Opening: A new space was born on the top floor of the hotel with the concept of “a place for you to spend time in your own unique style”
