Keio Plaza Hotel (Shinjuku and Hachioji) will participate in “EARTH HOUR 2026,” one of the world’s largest environmental actions, held on Saturday, March 28, 2026.
“EARTH HOUR” is an initiative proposed by WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) that creates an opportunity to think about climate change and biodiversity conservation by turning off lights simultaneously around the world on the same day and time (8:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.). Through this initiative, we aim to contribute to raising awareness towards the realization of a sustainable society.
On the day of the event, we will turn off or dim the lights in the public spaces of both hotels as follows.

- Chandeliers in the main lobby 3rd floor of the Main Tower and near the banquet hall entrance: Dimmed to approximately 10% of normal brightness.
• Main Tower north side evacuation balcony: Lights off.
-Main Bar Brillant: Some lights will be turned off.
Keio Plaza Hotel Hachioji
・1st floor Lobby Chandelier: Dimmed to approximately 50% of normal lighting.
・1st floor Windbreak Room Lighting: Dimmed to approximately 50% of normal lighting.
