Purchased land from Keio Corporation (formerly Keio Teito Electric Railway) and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.

March

Keio Teito Electric Railway (currently Keio Electric Railway) established the first research department in the planning and research office for the purpose of hotel construction.

April

The Keio Hotel Construction Committee was established by staff from Keio Teito Electric Railway (now Keio Electric Railway), Nihon Sekkei, and Kajima Corporation.
