Social Contribution & Community Collaboration

Supporting Local Forest Regeneration Activities

Together with Keio Corporation, we support the forest restoration activities at Mount Takao, located along the Keio Line, through donations and participation in tree planting and underbrush clearing activities organized by the Japan Alpine Club's “Takao Forest Restoration Association.” Mount Takao is the closest mountain to our hotel and is a popular tourist destination featured in the Michelin Guide. Through these efforts, we aim to contribute to the restoration of a diverse and rich forest and environmental conservation.

Conducting litter cleanup activities around the hotel

Our employees regularly participate in cleaning activities around Shinjuku Station, contributing to the beautification of the Shinjuku area while cherishing our connection with the local community.

Incorporating Art by Persons with Disabilities at SKY PLAZA IBASHO

At SKY PLAZA IBASHO, we respect diversity and aim to create a space where everyone can feel comfortable. To that end, we have adopted art pieces from Heralbony Inc., a company that works with artists with intellectual disabilities from Japan and abroad. The five art pieces from Heralbony are displayed throughout SKY PLAZA IBASHO.

Cocktails made with Fair Trade tea

We offer "Baileys Tea Milk (alcoholic)" and "Peach Tea Squash (non-alcoholic)," made with fair trade tea that ensures the sustainability of tea producers and production environments, in Banquet Room according to the organizer's request.

Collaboration with Producers

We cherish the diverse food cultures of Japan, and our Executive Chef personally visits various regions to procure fresh, carefully selected ingredients from local fishing ports and farms. Using cooking methods that bring out the best qualities of these ingredients, we offer a wide range of dishes from à la carte to full-course meals.

Supporting Employment for Persons with Disabilities
Through Book Donations - “Jobbon”

We have placed a “used book collection box” in our back yard, where guests can donate books they have finished reading. The collected books are then donated to a facility that supports employment for people with disabilities. Through the cleaning and sale of these books, the facility creates employment opportunities and supports economic independence for individuals with disabilities.

“Shinjuku Art Brut Corporate Exhibition”

With the aim of contributing to welfare activities in the local community and deepening mutual understanding with the community, we have been collaborating with the Shinjuku Ward Social Welfare Corporation Association since 2024 to hold a limited-time social welfare art exhibition in the art lobby on the3F Main Tower in December. From the first day of the exhibition, many people, including those involved with welfare facilities, visited the exhibition.
