Performer Information

Tokyo Kagurazaka Association

The Tokyo Kagurazaka Association is an organization that supports the historic hanamachi (traditional Japanese entertainment district) culture of Kagurazaka, Shinjuku, Tokyo. Kagurazaka is known as a district where traditional and modern elements blend, with cobblestone alleys, traditional Japanese restaurants (ryotei), and geishaculture still thriving today. The association is composed of local ryotei and geisha, and plays a role in preserving and promoting the traditional performing arts and hospitality culture of Kagurazaka. As of December 2025, the association has 4 ryotei and 18 geishamembers, and through various performances and events, they continue to share the charm of hanamachi culture with a wider audience.
