~ The Legendary Cocktail “Celebration” and Main Bar Brillant’s Supreme Bar Experience, Connecting 55 Years of Gratitude and The Future ~
To commemorate the 55th anniversary of Keio Plaza Hotel and Main Bar Brillant, as well as the 40th anniversary of the legendary cocktail “Celebration,” we will be holding a five-day limited event called “Celebration Night.”
For the first time in history, a bartender was awarded the Medal with Yellow Ribbon, and one of these esteemed individuals, Kazuya Watanabe, along with another Tokyo Master Craftsman, Katsuya Takano, will be appearing at the bar counter of Main Bar Brillant. Experience their unique skills and aesthetics, and enjoy a supreme bar time.

"Celebration" (1986, written by Kazuya Watanabe)
In 1986, the year Keio Plaza Hotel celebrated its 15th anniversary, this cocktail was created as the winning entry in the 15th HBA (Hotel Bartenders Association) Creative Cocktail Competition. After pouring champagne into the glass, the other ingredients are added and then shaken, with the champagne bubbles lifting the mixture. This cocktail has been loved by guests for nearly 40 years and has now become a Standard cocktail, making it a fitting drink for celebrations.

"Havana Ranja" (2014, by Katsuya Takano)
This original cocktail won the top prize at the "Havana Club Cocktail Contest 2014." It's an innovative cocktail that utilizes the warm and rich flavor of "Havana Club 7 Year Old" and allows you to enjoy fresh oranges whole, along with the liquid.
