During my travels, I was suddenly struck by images of foreign cityscapes and everyday scenes that left a lasting impression on my heart.
As time passes, the outlines fade, and only the light, colors, and the presence of people remain in our memories.
Artist Kenro Tsurumaki expresses the "light" residing in the heart using Japanese mineral pigments.
I paint with subdued colors and the shimmer of gold and silver leaf.
