The Glenlivet Whisky Seminar
“The Glenlivet”, loved worldwide as “the original single malt”,
will be hosting a one-day event where you can compare 8 different types and enjoy pairing dishes!
We will be holding a one-day event featuring a seminar and whisky & cuisine pairing, centered around the world-renowned single malt Scotch whisky, The Glenlivet, which is also the first distillery officially recognized by the Scottish Government.
In the seminar, we will explore the historical background of The Glenlivet, its establishment, and its influence on future generations as "the original single malt". We will also delve into its production methods and unique flavors from a professional perspective.
The seminar will be conducted by Daiki Nakamura, a bartender with numerous accolades in international cocktail competitions, and who will be appointed as the Scotch Whisky Brand Ambassador starting April 2025.
On the day of the event, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy five varieties of The Glenlivet: 12, 15, 18, 25 years, and a secret bottle. For the whisky & cuisine pairing, we will be featuring three types: The Glenlivet Caribbean Reserve, 200th Anniversary Bottle, and 14 years.

Scotch Whisky Brand Ambassador, Daiki Nakamura
In April 2025, he was appointed as a Scotch Whisky Brand Ambassador. He began his career as a bartender at Conrad Tokyo and has won numerous awards in various cocktail competitions. He is responsible for handling the brands of Pernod Ricard Japan, including The Glenlivet, Chivas Regal, Royal Salute, Aberlour, and Secret Speyside Collection.
